The Diversity Hiring Coalition of Maine

Our Mission: To provide leadership and resources that help Maine employers to increase, support, and retain racial and ethnic diversity in the workplace.
The Diversity Hiring Coalition (DHC) is a partnership of private and public sector employers providing leadership and developing resources to help Maine employers increase, support, and retain racial and ethnic diversity in the wrokplace.  The DHC expects to be a resource for job seekers exploring career opportunties with Maine employers, and to provide networking opportunities for member employers.
The Diversity Hiring Coalition is an affiliate of the SHRM Maine State Council, which serves and advances the human resource profession throughout the state. The Diversity Hiring Coalition is an endorsing sponsor of the Maine HR convention.


Thank you for everyone who attended our Apri Meeting!  The Town of Scarborough provided a great meeting location (and delicious breakfast!)  We were blessed to have Jesse and Sharon Morris visit our meeting and share information about Native American culture and their experiences in the workforce.

Our Next Meeting...

Our next meeting will take place on June 23rd. This will be a closed meeting focused on revamping the DHC's mission & vision statements for 2015 and beyond!
