DHC serves as an important one-stop clearinghouse of information about diversity in Maine's workforce. Our website features resources that focus on the interests and needs of minority job seekers and that guide employers seeking to hire and retain a diverse workforce.
The Diversity Hiring Coalition is an affiliate of the SHRM Maine State Council, which serves and advances the human resource profession throughout the state. DHC is very visible at the annual Maine SHRM conference, held in May of each year at the Samoset Resort in Rockland.
DHC member companies understand that people from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds are an important source of talent and skill for Maine employers and can help Maine employers reach, hire, and retain more diverse employees and enhance the vitality of their workforce.
